Chaplain’s Report.

Rendezvous of Distribution,
Saturday, March 12, 1864

Failing to receive the Chaplain’s report in time for publication in our last issue, we insert it in connection with the late one this week: –

The following deaths occurred in Augur General Hospital during the week ending March 5th, 1864: –

Feb. 28 – Amos McGee, Co. G, 82nd P.V.; belonged in Smithfield, R.I.,; died of fever following measles.

March 1 – George Turner, Co. F, 122d N.Y.V.; came into hospital on the 18th of February with measles; died of fever ensuing.

March 2 – Lucius Helms, 141st Co., 1st Battalion, Invalid Corps; died suddenly in the Invalid Corps Barracks; had been on duty in the morning apparently in good health.

March 3 – George Lamson, Co. E, 2nd U. S. Sharpshooters, an obituary of whom we published last week.

March 4 – Winfield S. Hamacher, Co. H, 7th P.R.C.; died of pneumonia; one of the honored veterans of the service, who had just re-enlisted for three years.
