George S. Graham, Co. D, 10th Pennsylvania Reserves

Burgettstown, Pa., September 5th – Dr. George S. Graham died here Wednesday night. He was born at Runningsville, Washington county, Pa., December 26, 1839. While attending Washington & Jefferson College he enlisted in Company D, Tenth Pennsylvania Reserves. He studied medicine and practiced his profession at Florence for nearly 30 years, when, on account of ill health and the loss of his sight, he retired. He was a member of the State legislature during the sessions of 1885-6. He was an elder in the Presbyterian church at Florence. His widow, four sons and one daughter survive. Internment occur this afternoon at 2 o’clock.
