This collection features the wartime correspondence of Regimental Band Leader Thomas McKean, of the 10th Pennsylvania Reserves. After the regimental band was disbanded – it’s members were absorbed into the various companies in the regiment. McKean can be found on the muster rolls of Company G, of the 10th Regiment.
This digital collection share was contributed to us back in 2011 by the donor of the transcripts, Roland J. Gallo. We’d like to specially thank CW5 Russell J. Houser, DMA for his work in prepping the digital record, and to Brendon Stead for editing the final copy for publication. Thanks to everyone who was involved in getting this project completed.
