The James Lindsey Inghram Letters

These letters are written by James Lindsey Inghram of the 8th Pennsylvania Reserves. Inghram began his service as a Sergeant in Company I, the “Greene County Rangers,” and in a short time after his enlistment, rose to the rank of Second Lieutenant and appointed Adjutant of the regiment. He would unfortunately be killed at the Battle of Fredericksburg, December 13, 1861.
