Upcoming PRVCHS Cemetery Workshop

Hosted by the Monuments, Memorials & Gravesites Committee Chair, Ken Gulick.

On Saturday, August 19, the PRVCHS will be hosting a Cemetery Workshop at Fileys Cemetery off Rt. 15 in Dillsburg, York County, Pennsylvania. Our primary goal is to clean and preserve various gravesites of Civil War Veterans, primarily those of the Pennsylvania Reserves. However, a number of Pennsylvania soldiers are buried in this cemetery and are in need of some TLC. Below you will find a list of those gravesites we will be working on. We are looking for volunteers from all walks of life who are interested in helping! We’ll provide the tools and the know-how. If you’re interested, email us at mmgc@prvchs.org. Thanks!

When: Saturday, August 19, 2023 beginning at 8:00AM and going thru the remainder of the day.

Where: Christ Lutheran Church Fileys, 15 S Fileys Rd, Dillsburg, York County, Pennsylvania
