William J. Carson, Co. K, 10th Pennsylvania Reserves

William J. Carson, a veteran of the Civil War, died yesterday in the home of his daughter, Mrs. J.L. Marshall, at Hulton Station. He entered service in July 1861, in Company K, Tenth Pennsylvania Reserves, and was detailed as acting assistant adjutant general of the Third Brigade. He served until the close of the war. He leaves his widow, one son James W. Carson, three daughter, Mrs. W.M. Dick, Mrs. Joseph W. Rosser and Mrs. John L. Marshall, and two brothers, R.B Carson and John D. Carson, and two sisters.
