Ken is a lifelong resident of Dillsburg, York County, Pennsylvania. Since his early years, he became increasingly interested in the American Civil War, a passion which has ceased to leave him.
As a member of the PRVCHS, Ken serves in multiple capacities.

The Pennsylvania Reserve Volunteer Corps Historical Society was organized in 2004 by August Marchetti and Justin Sanders.
